People Basket

Handwoven by women artisans in Rwanda, each basket is uniquely handmade from the sisal fibers of the cactus plant. Sisal is an environmentally friendly fiber, as it is biodegradable and almost no pesticides or fertilizers are used in its cultivation. The sisal is intricately wrapped around grass or banana leaves, creating these unique and colorful baskets. * Measures approx. 10 inches tall. * Color: mixed designs with women. * Each basket is uniquely different, with no two exactly alike.
